Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Sign Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of a variety of architectural signage at commercial and industrial sites. The role involves working with different materials, tools, and equipment to ensure that signs are installed securely and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Install a wide range of architectural signs, including interior and exterior signage, wayfinding systems, and custom architectural elements. Read and interpret blueprints, installation instructions, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation. Use tools and equipment such as drills, power saws, and lifts to install signs on various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and exteriors. Ensure that all signage installations meet safety and quality standards. Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification. Perform site assessments to determine proper installation methods and materials. Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing signs. Ensure that work areas are clean and organized. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all equipment is used properly and maintained. Requirements: Previous experience in sign installation or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in sign installation. Experience working with different types of materials, such as metal, acrylic, and vinyl. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights, including using ladders and aerial lifts. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrical sign installations (neon, LED, etc.). OSHA 10 or 30 certification or similar safety training.
