About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for its Regional Medical Group. The CAO will play a pivotal role in providing administrative leadership to support the development of a fully integrated, multi-specialty employed medical group. This integration involves merging separate medical groups to create a single, cohesive entity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical, operational, strategic, and cultural integration of the new medical group. The role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record in physician practice management, multi-specialty ambulatory environments, and a deep understanding of medical group operations. Candidates for the CAO position must have a Master’s degree in health services management, business administration, or an equivalent field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience as a senior leader in a physician practice within a multi-hospital, integrated system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical group program administration, finance, and experience with value-based care models. Essential skills include the ability to optimize operational and financial performance, design physician compensation programs, and foster collaborative relationships with a diverse group of providers. Change management experience and a proven ability to lead during system transformation are also highly valued. The CAO will be instrumental in driving the organization's mission to expand high-quality, coordinated care across the region.
