The Insurance Agent Trainer is responsible for conducting, developing, implementing and evaluating training programs for new and existing insurance agents.

Job Description:

This role ensures that all agents are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to perform their duties effectively and provide exceptional service to clients. The agent training Specialist will work closely with management to identify training needs, create educational materials, and facilitate engaging training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for new and current insurance agents, including onboarding, sales techniques, product knowledge, compliance, and customer service
  • Create training materials, such as manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations
  • Conduct training sessions using various methods, including in-person workshops, webinars, and online courses
  • Utilize adult learning principles to ensure training is engaging and effective
  • Assess the effectiveness of training materials and methods based on feedback and industry best practices
  • Continuously improve training materials and methods based on feedback and industry best practices
  • Work with subject matter experts, managers, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop relevant content
  • Partner with the HR department to ensure training aligns with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance laws, regulations and best practices
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to agents to reinforce training and promote continuous learning
  • Address any training-related issues and provide solutions to enhance agent performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources or a related field (Preferred and not mandatory)
  • Health Insurance License (S) (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience i training and development within the insurance industry
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs
