Job Description:

The Freight Broker Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving our sales and maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. We're looking for a highly self-motivated, competitive professional who is passionate about building relationships and delivering results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture relationships with both new and existing customers and carriers, using various communication channels to understand their needs and deliver tailor-made solutions.
• Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Track and follow shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring punctual and satisfactory deliveries.
• Strategize and execute plans to secure freight and manage end-to-end logistics from pickup to delivery.
• Proactively monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and promptly address any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with the operations team to manage shipments and resolve any arising issues.
• Leverage industry knowledge and insights to grow our customer base and drive our sales strategy.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our operations team to ensure superior customer service and resolve shipment issues.
• Use our transportation management system (TMS) to manage, update, and maintain accurate customer and shipment information.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement.
• Embrace continuous learning, keeping updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in freight brokerage or a similar role in logistics.
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

• Experience with CRM, TMS, or similar systems.
• Self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to work independently are crucial.
