Lakeshore Sport and Fitness is looking for Kids Dance Teacher and a Kid's Tumbling Instructor to join our team.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for all kids.
• Stay engaged in play and an active participant in the space.
• Be creative and thoughtful in planning activities for all age groups.
• Curate a Dance curriculum for ages 3-9yrs old to focus around Ballet and may also incorporate additional dance movements and theories.
• Help foster a welcoming environment for all children. Be welcoming in approach and to engage all kids.
• Communicate well to parents and caregivers to offer the best experience for all members and kids.
• Change diapers, record naps, and help with bathroom breaks.
• Wipe down supplies after use.
• Be aligned with our team member core values. We are looking for someone who is professional, takes ownership, and it a true team player!

Ideal candidate can teach both entry level dance and tumbling classes for ages 3-9. Multiple dance practices is preferred , but not required.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience with children required.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift children and hold babies.
• Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift.
