As a Medical Lab Tech, at Northwest Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. **Requirements:**
+ Must have hospital (medical) microbiology experience. ASCP (or equivalent) certification is preferred.
**About the Job:**
+ Performs moderate and high complexity tests in the clinical microbiology laboratory.
+ Ensures that specimens are appropriate for test methodologies.
+ Documents all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and maintenance performed.
+ Sets up cultures, isolates and identifies microorganisms manually and with instrumentation.
+ Assists customers with information regarding laboratory testing in a pleasant and professional manner.
