Your Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Print Production Manager or Senior Production Artist, with a proven track record of managing high-volume, deadline-driven deliverables in the entertainment industry.
  • An expert in building final print-ready mechanicals.
  • Strong skills in type, color, layout/design, and light retouching (e.g., masking and minor file adjustments).
  • In-depth knowledge of print formats, media, techniques, and color conversion between RGB and CMYK.
  • Experience with Epson large format proofing and familiarity with entertainment awards work is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on collaboration and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of job tracking systems .

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the print production process, from initial planning to delivering final files to printers and publications, including building final print-ready mechanicals.
  • Supervise a team of Production Artists, ensuring the quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with creative designers, account managers, and the finishing manager to align campaign guidelines and deadlines.
  • Coordinate schedules and assets with internal teams and external media agencies, maintaining organization across all projects.
  • Proofread, crosscheck, and manage quotes and client-provided information to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize media plans, ensuring all technical and legal requirements are met within deliverables.
  • Maintain and update templates and assets on internal servers, communicating changes to relevant teams.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure their vision is realized in every campaign.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a graphics-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in print production or as a senior-level production artist, with experience managing teams in the entertainment industry.
  • Must be able to build final print-ready mechanicals.
  • Expertise in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Solid understanding of print production techniques , including large-format proofing, various media formats, and color conversion (RGB and CMYK).
  • Strong type, layout, and color skills, with light retouching abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic job tracking systems .
