Description Summary University of Silicon Valley evolved its programs over the years resulting in different formats. Thus, there is a need to systematically align all programs to achieve the optimum structure supporting learners and their goals while staying in alignment with the institutional, programmatic, & course outcomes. The incumbent will need to interview different stakeholders (faculty, directors, advisors, registrar, instructional designer among others), conduct internal and external benchmarking, and recommend the best path forward for the structure of each program. They will then collaborate with key members of the institution to update each program accordingly.
Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Interview key stakeholders to document the current and ideal state of the programs (CS, GAME, Animation, Audio, and Business).
Conduct internal and external benchmarking to recommend changes to courses and structure of the program and courses.
Present findings to key members of the institution. Findings should incorporate and achieve: standardizing program unit (3 or 4), identifying gaps in prerequisites and co-requisites (need to determine if all prerequisites are justified), systematically incorporating portfolios in all programs, and identifying key courses to incorporate game-based learning in each program.
Familiar with different regulatory requirements through inherited knowledge or consultation with key team members to ensure recommendations are in alignment with accreditation and other regulations.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in instructional design, education technology, or similar field
Experience: Four or more years of programmatic design and assessment, developing online, mobile, and instructor-led courses
Curriculum development experience
Experience working with a variety of eLearning technology platforms and learning management systems.
Experience delivering professional training

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and office machines. The employee will be requested to log hours worked in a system provided by the institution and track individual task assignments in another tool.
