Overview:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Summary:

Support Corporate Business Office at NSWCDD with technical/program documentation support.

Education and Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in developing and maintaining documentation in DoD environment in areas such as Working Capital Fund organizations, Navy ERP, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and financial systems. 
• Proficient in verbal and oral communication with personnel of all levels and demonstrated ability (through experience) to work independently. 

Essential Duties:

• Provide technical documentation support
• Provide support in compiling, drafting, reviewing, and updating program documentation
• Review existing documentation for proper supporting program data, technical, and editorial adequacy
• Confer with the author or originator of the documentation to identify necessary changes and update the documentation if required

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

• Experience in word processing applications, Microsoft Suite, and automated database systems
