The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for executing the Sourcing framework & providing supplier spend analysis & insights for the Americas business to deliver on its procurement savings targets & sourcing resilience initiatives. Responsible for executing category-based supplier insights analysis to the Strategic Sourcing Director, the role looks to develop opportunities to rationalize the supply base, initiate cost savings opportunities and simplify the Sourcing landscape to drive efficiency across the supply landscape. Key to this requirement is the development of supplier spend dashboards in automated toolsets to standardize across major markets over time.
Responsibilities Support the strategic sourcing function in partnering with stakeholders to drive commercial and operational efficiency and implement initiatives to drive shareholder wealth
Execute the high-level sourcing strategy for critical components to align with product roadmaps
In collaboration with the Director of Sourcing, assist in vendor onboarding, the creation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Establish and maintain robust tracking mechanisms to ensure suppliers meet their contractual obligations. Manage document repositories for certificates of insurance (COIs), licenses, and other essential documents.
Take an active role in supplier-related meetings and occasionally lead these sessions.
Identify cost saving opportunities across the supply base. Work with Global Finance teams to consolidate initiatives & record actual savings for global consolidated reporting.
Develop relevant MBR/QBR meeting materials for execution, reporting in line with contractual supplier requirements, documented per SLA's & MSA's.
Work closely with various business functions to translate SOW terms into actionable business processes. This includes but is not limited to SKU creation, SLA penalty implementation, and ensuring general adherence to project scope.
Execute day to day sourcing strategies to deliver KPI's including cost savings, supplier risk mitigation strategies & quality improvements.
Be the face of Strategic Sourcing across various functions to track installation spend, IT spend and identify opportunities for cost savings across the indirect spend category
Foster continuous improvement in Sourcing best practice methodologies by engaging with Supply Chain & Deployment teams to educate via lunch & learn sessions
Develop relevant materials to execute annual Supplier awards programs.
Develop & execute with 3rd party vendors, RFQ's, RFP's, Global spend analysis, quality KPI's etc...
Procurement savings & efficiency targets achieved & measured via a data driven set of dashboards to playback to NAM leadership & SLT
Improved supplier performance driven by strong oversight of KPI's played back to suppliers in MBR & QBR's. Performance measured against SLA & MSA KPI's.
Increased efficiency of our supply base, through consolidation of suppliers across the critical component category
Quality of MBR & QBR meeting materials driving the right level of engagement with suppliers, to build strategic long-lasting partnerships
Development of a Supplier awards program for Coates leadership to build meaningful partner relationships
RFPs are developed for major spend categories so that these attract growing & capable suppliers to support the growth of Coates. These RFP's must also lower our cost profile from a total cost of ownership perspective.
Execution of sourcing strategies as developed by the NAM Sourcing Director & global Design & Engineering teams
Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of analytical experience within a procurement, Supply Chain or BPO functional discipline
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement and Data Analytics (or equivalent)
Knowledge and previous experience in working with technical teams to implement reporting dashboards (via Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Working with Operational Teams to understand data input and how that data can be used to drive analytics
Excellent quantitative & analytical experience working with cross functional teams in developing analytics & KPI's for vendor & procurement tracker initiatives
Experience working in global organizations where distributed services require strong collaboration skills and knowledge of the business
Proficient in the use of ERP applications where data is maintained as the source of truth
Ability to collaborate with US & global teams to execute the Plan is a foundational requirement
Analytical and able to understand trends & behaviors in data
Results oriented, focused on driving efficiency initiatives across Sourcing & Supply Chain that deliver value
Can assess data trends and look for opportunities to drive cost savings initiatives in NAM
Strong communicator & individual contributor to the Operations team, values data & data driven decision making
Capable of analyzing direct & indirect spend, initiate supplier RFPs to drive value
