SUMMARY :

The Test Technician 2 will review and provide input and follow Final Test Procedures, evaluate Test Results, and prepare all necessary reports for the DHR of each System Under Test. The Test Technician will document any Non-Conforming Material for processing through Cytek’s Quality process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for acquiring a technical understanding of the System under test and conducting the System Final Test accurately and consistently
• Troubleshoot technical issues that occur during the System Final Test process, identify root cause, and correct the issue in support of successful completion of Final System Test
• Troubleshoot will include laser, fluidic, electronic, and optical sub-system assessment.
• Testing returned units, collecting data, and analyzing patterns are also among the Test Technicians’ duties.
• Subject matter expert in instrument and system performance.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by test/manufacturing engineers. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with instrument testing operations.
• Serves as a liaison between Operations, Design Engineering, and Field Engineering to influence the Manufacturability and Serviceability of the product design.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field Preferred. Associate degree in engineering field with 5 or more years of experience in technical field accepted.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Test Technician role. Medical Device experience required
• Experience working with multi-sub-system equipment including electronic, optical, fluidic, and application software sub-systems is a plus
• Experience using the Windows OS, MSOffice Applications, Engineering Change Order Systems, Device History Records, and creation of Final Test Procedures, Reports, and Bills Of Materials
• Ability to competently use hand tools, an oscilloscope, multi-meter, and microscope
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Any other tools as necessary for system level test of equipment

• Light to Medium Heavy Work: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Comfortably work while standing for long periods of time
• Able to position their body without additional support to obtain access to internal components of the system
