As an OTR-Truck Driver (CDL-A), you will perform responsibilities within your department. This will include ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are conducted in a safe manner, with a focus on delivering quality products within the time required by our customers. Projects are related to the improvement of product quality, manufacturing processes consistency, efficiency and throughput, operating systems, and lean manufacturing. The rate for this position is $.5665 per mile. Job Description: Responsible for delivering loads to customers and back-hauling empty reels. Minimum Qualifications: Class A CDL License, must pass a DOT physical and drug test. • Long-distance driving
• Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Electronic Logs
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
• Support and comply with company policies and procedures as applicable
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude Job Requirements:
