Title: UX Designer
Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote)
Clearance: US Citizen (Secret Eligible)

About this role:

Platform One is a DoD enterprise service capability intended to make the DoD DevSecOps initiative a reality by leveraging industry best practices, open-source software such as Kubernetes and containers, and commercial solutions to instantiate CI/CD pipelines at various classification levels. Rackner is working with the Platform One program to support these initiatives and provide technical services and expertise for the program's success.

The UX Designer will provide user experience design support to service delivery, user experience, marketing, customer success, data analysts, and leadership. The UX Designer will conduct user surveys and produce data in professional presentation mediums. UX Designer will effectively create user-centered designs, conduct thorough user research, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the overall user experience. Provide virtual onboarding experience for DoD product teams, leveraging Platform One pipelines.

• Conduct user surveys and produce data in professional presentation mediums.
• Conduct human-centered design interviews of both internal and external Platform One stakeholders to ensure CSAT and NPS scoring improvements.
• Support user-facing design strategy sessions utilizing collected data and surveys.
• Conduct design and ideation sessions with multiple personas and stakeholders to ensure the full capture of customer experiences.
• Work closely with other team members to integrate UX design into service delivery, user experience, marketing, customer success, and leadership.

We are seeking professionals with:

• Strong knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and other relevant UX/UI software.
• Familiarity with usability testing methods and user research techniques.
• Understanding of human-centered design and interaction design.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping purposes.

Nice to have:

• Proven experience in UX design, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Background in conducting user research, surveys, and interviews.
• Experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging and effective user interfaces.
• Creativity in developing innovative design solutions.
